Our Windows save you money! Ordinary windows lose energy from 4 different ways:

Radiation:

Heat loss from one surface to another thru electromagnetic waves. Heat seeks cold so the warmer the frame and glass...the less energy loss. If you're trying to keep the inside 70° F then all solid objects are 70° F. Waves of heat continually migrate towards cold.

Conduction:
Heat transfers through a solid by contact such as the warm material inner pane of glass contacting the glass spacer.

Convection:
Affects heat transfer between the glass surface and heated air thus causing drafts on a still night from convection movement of the dead air space between the glass as well al hollow vinyl frames which have drain holes.

Our Window Line-up addresses and eliminates the 4 causes of energy dollars wasted by offering better technology. Essentially heat loss happens through the frame, insulated glass, spacer, and weather strip.

Our Frames

Left to Right: Starmark 900 Series featuring Cellunar Technology Frame, Starmark 300 Series Vinyl frame with foam filling, Competitive Vinyl Frame.

Our Glass

Our Spacers
The importance of the glass spacer is to increase the temp at the edge of the glass (see below). Most windows today are still produced with steel or aluminum spacers which cause condensation at much lower temperatures.

Condensation
Caused by humidity or humidifiers often referred to as the ?? of the window industry, because it can lead to mold and mildew. We are so confident, we actually recommend adding humidity to increase comfort, stop static shock..??

Here's how it works. Have you ever noticed that you feel warmer when it's 75 degrees and 90 percent humidity v.s. 80 degrees and 40 percent humidity? Moisture in the air affects comfort, skin temperature, and also moistens. So go ahead and install our windows, turn down the heat and up the humidity to save an extra 4%..5%..6%
